Day 4 - Kingfisher to Perkins

Another rest stop in a cemetery.  This time in Banner, Ok. ..... do you think Libby is trying to tell us something with all of these cemetery stops?

In Perkins, Dean tries to teach a local dog some tricks. ...... Talk about the blind leading the deaf & dumb!  .... Well, it could be worse.  It could have been me trying to train the Jack Russell Terrier. <g>

The end of day four finds us being chased in to our overnight town of Perkins by the omnipresent Oklahoma spring thunderstorms.  Nothing unusual for a June ride through "Tornado Alley".  "The Group" decides it's better tonight to hold up in the Perkins school rather than to attempt to brave the approaching thunderstorms in our tents.  Dean waits for something to happen between our arrival and beddy-bye time.

David does too, but he keeps his helmet on.  Shouldn't take any chances on the slick, wet, tile floors while wearing cycling shoes with metal clips in the soles.
