Day 2 - Elgin to Hinton

Breakfast in Elgin before we start day 2.  The "roadhouse" gang is all together and ready for the next challenge.

Leave it to Jackie to catch those moments you would never remember.  His website, http://www.midtowndepot.com/fw2002/ titles this, "HUH?!?!".  My guess is I was just "mugging" for Jackie's camera on request at a moment when we were a little bored.

It's time for lunch in Apachie.  Jackie gets the group to stand still long enough for a pictures.  Left to right, Tom, Sylvia, Sarah, Dean, Barry and Gary.

David, Tom and "Sly" take a rest stop later that afternoon.  Where?  Well, this is the cemetery in Pleasantview, Ok. .... Does it look like we're "dying" to get in?

While "dying" to get in, Mark passes us.  (I still think Mark is about one wheel short of a full bycycle.)

It's a hot afternoon so as we cross the Ft. Cobb Lake Dam, several of us decide to do some skinny (or not-so-skinny) dipping in the lake.

At the end of the day's ride, Tom Brown is waiting for us in Hinton.  He can always make your bike ready for the next day.  If you're ever in Tulsa, stop in and say, "Hi" at Tom's Bicycles.
