Robert and Associates
Arguably, two of the most influential people in the history of Zytron, Robert and Mr. Dick Hoberg. I have no idea what they are discussing, but I'm sure we all profited. By the way, could that be Grant Long and Dick Fastenau's silver locks in the background left?
Robert with another legend at Zytron, the late Pat McManus. (Is that Bill Kish in the background?)
For those of you who may not know, Bill now owns his own service and hardware company in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It's name? ..... "ZYTRON Imaging Services"!
Few of us in the field got to know Robert as a "family man". Here's proof for all. In conversations with Robert since leaving the company, I have found that he has had more time to devote to this top priority lately - maybe without the suit, though.
Many of us are used to seeing Robert running around in surgical garb, but I think he was a bit over-dressed on this occasion, conversing with Brian Altman.
Robert provided no caption for this picture, but I don't believe the accusation that, "he is accompanied here by his ghost writer"!
Robert in incognito? Not Really. Many of us have caught Robert in a suit once in a while, but someone needs to tell him a corn cob pipe is necessary to complete the Popeye expression. ... '-)
When this web page was first posted, shortly after the start of this millennium, Robert had just finished his one-year "sabbatical" and was beginning to network to see if there were any challenges out there that he would find of interest. Since then, he has enjoyed various challenges, many in conjunction with other former Zytron employees and as of June, 2008, he is working with other former Zytron employees, Mike Cooper, Dave Hancock, Warren Hoppe, Nick Nichelson and Sid Smolen at XDI.
